![]() Updated 9:55PM ET, Fri April 19, 2019 (Brentwood, NY) - At approximately 1320 hours, East Brentwood Fire Department was activated for a motor vehicle accident in front of 1129 Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood. Crews encountered a two vehicle collision with a damaged horse trailer carrying two horses. Emergency personnel attended to the occupants, secured the two vehicles, stabilized the trailer and blocked traffic between Fulton and Bergen Streets. The two horses were transported to a local facility for further evaluation. A heavy duty wrecker was requested to safely remove the horse trailer once the horses were safely removed. East Brentwood responded with Ambulance 3-3-7, Squad 5, and Responder 80 under the command of 1st Assistant Chief Erik Vasquez. Minor injuries were reported. |
