Members of the "Wednesday Night Crew" (an overnight standby group consisting of EMTs and firefighters) banded together to reach out to sick children that will be spending Easter at the hospital this year.
These members visited Southside and Good Samaritan Hospitals delivering coloring books, stuffed animals and most importantly - smiles to the children and their families.
The dedicated group will be distributing Easter baskets at our firehouse Friday April 14 to children and will also be in attendance at our annual Easter Breakfast this Saturday. For more information on our breakfast visit www.ebfd.org/news/easter-breakfast-scheduled-for-april-15-2017

It is not often that one reads inspiring news. 6 year old Oliver R. served ice cold lemonade and snacks at his home in East Brentwood to raise money for children with cancer at St. Jude's hospital. A very motivated and determined Oliver spent this past Sunday morning serving the members of our community and others who have heard of Oliver's kind heart.
Members of the East Brentwood Fire Department stopped by for refreshments.
Several gallons and many snacks later, more than $650 was raised as Oliver's Lemonade Stand came to a close.
